NWG (NetWorks Group), your trusted ally in cybersecurity penetration testing and managed security services, is thrilled to embark on a transformative journey. Celebrating 25 years of excellence, innovation, and unwavering commitment to securing our client's digital journeys, we're poised to leap into the future with the launch of our new visual identity—a symbol of our evolution and our journey forward.
At NWG, we believe cybersecurity is ultimately about protecting people – your most valuable assets - which is why our tight-knit team of experts takes a highly collaborative approach to understand each client’s unique business needs and risk exposures. We pride ourselves on forging lasting relationships and connecting the dots across your people, processes, and technologies to provide tailored penetration testing, assessments, and managed security solutions that optimally safeguard your enterprise.
As we celebrate 25 years in business with an evolved visual identity, NWG reinforces our foundational promise to embolden trust in our relationships and always put client security first.
Founded a quarter-century ago on the principles of trust, expertise, and innovation, NWG has grown from a bespoke cybersecurity consultancy to a leader in the industry, safeguarding businesses in an era where digital threats evolve at breakneck speed. Our journey has been shaped by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, and a commitment to the businesses and communities we protect.
In realizing our vision for a new visual identity, NWG had the pleasure of collaborating with FinalFinal, a renowned Michigan-based design and consulting firm. FinalFinal facilitated engaging and insightful workshops that involved a large cohort of the NWG team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment that was instrumental in shaping our rebranding effort. Their expertise, coupled with a genuinely enjoyable partnership, played a pivotal role in bringing our new visual identity to life, reflecting the innovative spirit and forward-looking ethos of NWG. Their contribution was not just in design but in capturing the essence of who we are, making them an invaluable partner in our journey towards a new horizon.
“We’ve never worked with a team that was so in-sync with each other with how their brand should be represented and communicated. But this was no group-think, go-with-the-flow process either, there was real intentionality behind their concept of the company, how they wanted customers to feel before, during, and after working with them, and how they were differentiated from their competition. The entire team at NWG embodies that spirit extremely well.”
— Pete Baker, FinalFinal
NWG is essentially made up of two complementary but distinct ‘teams’; a red team (offensive security, penetration testing, hackers-as-a-service) and a blue team (defensive security, managed security services, hacker-defense-as-a-service). Red teams and blue teams are often the antithesis of each other; one attacks, and the other defends. But when they work together, in collaboration, it is the best way to both understand the risks to an organization through safe and ethical adversarial research and protect the organization by addressing the issues found in the research. We can then proactively monitor for ongoing needs as they arise.
The essence of our new visual identity is inspired by the idea of "connecting the dots." This concept is at the heart of what we do at NWG—using our knowledgeable and collaborative team to understand and solve our customers' needs and pain points. In the complex world of cybersecurity, where the landscape is as vast as it is intricate, our team excels in piecing together information, insights, and expertise to secure and empower your operations.
NWG has always valued partnership and problem-solving over peddling security products. Our new visual identity conveys our process of collaborating across the dots—of data, technologies, compliance needs, business objectives—to uncover and resolve security gaps. The connect-the-dots theme speaks to identifying patterns and interconnections.
In a nod to our foundation in cybersecurity, the new visual identity incorporates a graphical Morse code motif throughout, sometimes hiding our own messages within. This design choice is a tribute to our roots in securing secrets, symbolizing the depth of our expertise and our commitment to innovation in the face of evolving digital threats. The code elements in our visual identity are a testament to our prowess in deciphering the complexities of cybersecurity.
You might also notice the "redacted" motif of our Morse code bars turned into the ultimate symbol of cybersecurity: passwords and sensitive info, stylishly crossed out for the world not to see. It's not just design; it's our wink to the world of secrets we keep safe.
Our new visual identity is just the beginning. It's a promise of our commitment to not only meet the current demands of cybersecurity but to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. As NWG steps into new markets and embraces cutting-edge technologies, we remain dedicated to protecting your digital landscape with unmatched expertise, innovative solutions, and a deep commitment to your security and success.
As part of the rebrand, we are updating our website, social media channels, reports, and templates. Clients may notice refreshed sales and informational materials focusing on our specialization in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, compliance audits, security program strategy, and 24/7 managed security services.
Our clients have put their trust in us for a quarter century. As we continue to grow, expanding our services and geographic reach, we will maintain our foundational focus on world-class support. Our new look ushers in this next chapter for NWG, but our underlying mission and values remain unchanged.
We invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we will navigate the complexities of the digital age, fortified by a brand that stands for excellence, innovation, and trust. Welcome to the new NWG—where we'll work together to connect your dots, so we can secure them too.
