A recent study by the Aberdeen Group, an industry analyst firm, noted that reported security incidents are expected to top 200,000 this year, double the 100,00 reported incidents in 2002. And that is only what is being reported. Aberdeen analysts say there were 7.9 million unreported computer security incidents last year; that number is expected to hit 15.9 million this year.

While most of our services focus on proactive security, NetWorks Group knows that the largely unpredictable nature of IT security incidents such as denial of service attacks, proprietary information theft and network sabotage require both proactive and reactive measures. Our incident response service is available on an ad-hoc basis, the same basis on which most security incidents occur, so there is no subscription requirement.
