Broadening Your Access to Juniper Networks Education

Originally posted @ Juniper.net

Welcome to our second Education Services newsletter, Education Matters. We are pleased to share with you the latest and greatest from Juniper Networks Education Services.

In our inaugural newsletter in January, we announced our foray into alternative ways of bringing Juniper Networks Education to our customers—with the launch of our instructor-led online (ILO) offering. We know that people learn in different ways, have different times available to them, and have different budgets. Therefore, our mission is to ensure that whatever way people prefer to learn, or wherever in the world they may be, they have access to Juniper Networks Education.

In the first part of the year, we delivered classes in both Europe and the Americas using the ILO modality, and we are seeing the demand increase for this modality. New this month, we launched the ability to purchase individual copies of Juniper Networks Education Services curriculum. Some of our customers mentioned that they prefer to learn by themselves, and they asked for access to purchase our curriculum. This option is now available by going to http://www.onfulfillment.com/junipertrainingpublic. As well, don't forget that a subset of our curriculum is available in PDF format from http://www.juniper.net/training/fasttrack/.

We're also seeing our curriculum being adopted by numerous universities and colleges globally. In fact, recently, the Univeristy of Phoenix—an academic entity with the largest student body in North America (with 420,700 undergraduate students)—has accredited 10 Juniper courses as part of its technology curriculum.

And of course, in addition to these new ways to learn, our well-established Authorized Education Center network is a prime way for learners to access instructor-led training worldwide. In this edition of our newsletter we showcase three of our partners—one from each of our major geographies. We will continue to showcase partners each quarter, along with highlighting the specialization and expertise that each partner provides.
